A wonderful place to visit. When you walk in our home you walk into history. Pick from hundreds of books dating back to the 1800s to take to the screened porch and read or take a drink across the street to the pond and enjoy being with nature. We have a BBQ grill and if you let us know we can set up a fresh seafood feast (i.e. crawfish, shrimp, fried fish. . .) that you could not imagine (of course we ask that you pay for our expenses). You can dine at our large dinning room and drink wine on the hammock outside.

So what do you get:

1) One main bedroom and a connected bedroom with a bathroom (tub but no shower) -- Access to another full bath with a shower upstairs;

2) Free ride to and from the game on the Super Bowl day (if you want us to arrange transportation to New Orleans for other days this can be done at a pre-arranged cost);

3) Continental breakfast each morning in room or full breakfast at dinning room table;

4) Champagne / mimosa and snacks for the ride to Super Bowl and back;

5) One blow-up mattress available and you can bring others;

6) If you want a seafood meal (fish, shrimp, oysters, crawfish ...) let us know and we can coordinate a meal for your party;

7) If you are interested in a saltwater /marsh fishing trip into the Gulf of Mexico this can also be coordinated for the Saturday before the big game;

8) Can also set up a swamp tour.

9) Plenty of other options available as well -- just let us know what you might want to do. We are here to make your weekend a great time.

Other Amenities/Notes

This is an old plantation home dating back to 1893 with an 11 acre property and plenty of privacy. If you decide to rent our property we will provide a driver to New Orleans and back. This is more of a B&B type environment. Since the house is so large we do not intend to leave the home, but we can assist with food and atractions. We will also assist with the transportation to and from New Orleans. Internet is poor in this area. The best option for us is to use our Smart Phones and use it as a Hot Spot. There is good 4G connection. Note: You will be contributing to the restoration of an old home.
