Located on the walk-out lower level of the home, the apartment has its own private entrance and opens directly onto the backyard. Though it is a lower-level apartment, it is well lit and welcoming, with original 1940s pine paneling throughout much of the space giving it a warm, rustic feel.
With two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, the apartment works well for couples, families, or friends traveling together. Off-street parking is included—a particularly nice convenience on busy football weekends. Once you're settled in, you can leave the car behind to explore Kerrytown, downtown, and campus on foot.
Good to know: The bathroom adjoining the queen bedroom has a step up, which may be difficult for guests with balance or mobility concerns. The queen bedroom does not have its own air-conditioning vent. Because it is on the lower level, the room typically stays quite cool, and a fan is provided for additional comfort.
